WebADI: Number And Respective Unit Of Measure Attributes Do Not Appear Adjacent To Each Other In Excel For Multi-Row User Defined Attributes (Doc ID 2963347.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 24, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Product Hub - Version 12.2.11 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to create/update the item using Excel import, Multi-Row user defined attributes having Numeric attributes along with Unit of Measure columns are not shown in the correct sequence. The input columns (Number attributes) are bunched together and the corresponding UOM columns are all showing at the end of the sheet. This makes it confusing to know which UOM column is associated with the appropriate input value column.

What is working
This works fine when single row attribute groups with UOM class / Number Attributes are downloaded to Excel.

STEPS
1. Development Manager > Item Catalog > Batch Import > Import from Excel
2. Select the Item catalog category > Next > Import
3. See Excel is created, review columns created from the Import format for the Item catalog category, UOM class field is not aligned correctly with the corresponding number attribute
