Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.2.11 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.2.11 version, Inventory Transactions

Actual behavior

Different Transaction Type are populated for Move Order between Header and Line  levels causing discrepancies for business reporting.

After performing transact Move Order, business may realize that it needs same  Transaction Type for both at Header and Line Levels.

Expected behavior

Line level and Header level should both be populated with same Transaction Type.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Inventory responsibility > Move Orders
2. Create a new Move Order with a particular Transaction Type  in the Header, then input Item by wrong selection of different Transaction Type at Line Level;
3. Transact the Move Order and see discrepancy which the business will no longer accept and would need to correct.
