Symptoms
When attempting to enter and save assignment details Like Job, Position Etc., the following error occurs.
Second Error: APP-PER-52156: You cannot update this assignment with these details. To correct the original problem please query the assignment and reapply your change
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go into the responsibility: UK or your HRMS Manager
2. N> Other Definition > Application Utility Lookup
3. Query the custom lookup lookup "XX Lookup"" .
4. Add lookup code "XX Code"" and Save. Which was used for element entry value (Input Value Name) and deleted after using for the assignment.
5. After saving above code and retest the issue by navigating below.
N> People -> Enter and Maintain > Query the employee whose assignment data or Job need to update.
6. Click on "Assignment" Button
7. Entered or change the assignment details as per the requirements and Save
8. Getting below Error.
9. Save again and getting below error.
