The Accounting Flexfield Segment Values in the Web ADI Journal Wizard With Leading Zero Values Are Uploading With The Leading Zeros Removed (Doc ID 2964386.1)

Symptoms

After upgrade from E-Business Suite (EBS) version 12.1.3 to version 12.2.11 uploading data using a WebADI journal template.
Any accounting flexfield segment with a leading zero values fails import showing the leading zero values have been removed.

 

STEPS TO RECREATE THE ISSUE 
------------------------------------
1) Using a General Ledger responsibility.
2) Navigate to Journals -> Launch Journal wizard.
3) Select the layout and create the document.
4) Enter journal data including lines:

00.0000000.000000.00000
00.0010000.000000.00000   


5) Select upload and the upload is successful.
6) Journal import program is run and fails with the following error seen in the Journal Import Execution report:

00.0010000.000000.00000
Value 10000 for the flexfield segment EXAMPLE does not exist in the value set XX_GL_EXAMPLE.


Changes

 This issue is being seen after upgrade from EBS version 12.1.3 to version 12.2.11.
