WebADI Error Attempting to Use Saved Templates Generating Excel Error "Syntax Error" (Doc ID 2964457.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to use a saved WebADI Excel template an Excel message box is seen on screen when trying to login after selecting a data field or parameter list of values (LOV).

STEPS TO RECREATE THE ISSUE
---------------------------------------
1) Create a WebADI Excel template and save it.
2) Open the saved Excel file and attempt to enter values via a List of values and the template attempts to request the login.
3) This generates an Excel message/dialog box that shows the error provided above.
4) Select Yes to continue and a new window appears with title: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure | Sign In, but this form is blank.
5) For a handful of the user, they try again and can sign on and select a responsibility, most users see the same behavior repeated.


The E-Business Suite (EBS) environments are Single Sign on (SSO) enabled and all other EBS functionalities are working without issues via SSO.
Newly created Excel templates do not have this issue, it is only seen attempting to use templates that have been previously saved.

Microsoft patching has update the Microsoft Office code on these personal computers.
