Symptoms

When running the Create Accounting process, the Accounting Program (XLAACCUP) ends in error as shown in the log file:

An internal error occurred.  Please inform your system administrator or support representative that:
An internal error has occurred in the program xla_accounting_pkg.ValidateAAD.  ORA-0000: normal, successful completion.
...
...
The application accounting definition <XXXX> Accrual Basis owned by User is not validated.  Please validate the application accounting definition or update the application accounting definitions contained in the subledger accounting method <XXXX> Standard Accrual.
The application accounting definition Accrual Basis owned by Oracle is not validated.  Please validate the application accounting definition or update the application accounting definitions contained in the subledger accounting method <XXXX> Standard Accrual.

Steps to Reproduce
-----------------------

  1. From a Payables Responsibility, run the Create Accounting Process
  2. This initiates the Accounting Program which fails
  3. Note the error messages in the log file as shown above
