Last updated on APRIL 17, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Order Management - Version 12.2.10 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Order fails to create in Global Trade Management (GTM) due to invalid address being sent as a Sold To address, but this address does not exist in GTM.
Address picked as Sold To address is not visible or related to the specific customer record for which the order was entered for.
Code is not checking if the Sold To address being selected is associated with customer account or not.
The expectation is that the Export Compliance would check and verify that the Sold To address chosen is associated with the customer on the sales order.
STEPS
---------
1) Order Management Super User Responsibility
2) Order Organizer > Enter new Sales order with Export Compliance workflow.
3) Book the order.
4) Order is sent to GTM for export compliance screening.
5) Fails due to random, unassociated Sold To address selected.
