R12: AP: Payment Process Confirmation Aborted - Unable To Take Action On Payment Process (Warning: Events Active) (Doc ID 2966772.1)

Symptoms

The payment process request program was aborted while it was processing the record print status program.

Now unable to take any action on the payment process, when we take the cursor near to take action it says "Warning: Events Active"


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Payables Manager --> Payments --> Entry --> Payment Manager

2. Submit a Payment process request

3. Terminate the process or bounce the concurrent manager while payment process requests are running.


Due to this issue, payment process request can not be completed and future payments are also delayed.

Changes

 The concurrent manager was bounced as part of some critical month end activity and it caused the record print status program to terminate abruptly.
