While Performing Amortized Adjustment Using Asset Workbench Getting Error "APP-OFA-48392 amortized adjustments are not allowed for this book" (Doc ID 2968471.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to perform amortized adjustment on an asset via asset workbench 
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Error- APP-OFA-48392 amortized adjustments are not allowed for this book

Issue can be reproduced following below steps:

1. Navigation : Asset responsibility -> Assets -> Asset workbench -> Query asset
2. Perform adjustment and check amortized checkbox
3. Error appears on screen
