AU: In case Of Legal Employer & Payroll Change, Employee's Assignment Is Not Available In Single Touch Payroll Pahse2 (STP2) Archive Update Event For Previous Legal Employer (Doc ID 2970717.1)

When the Legal Employer & Payroll are changed, employee's assignment is not available in STP2 Archive process (for Update event) of previous Legal Employer.


Existing LE & Payroll
Legal Employer = Legal Entity1
Payroll = Payroll1

Payroll and STP processed for the employee in LE1 till Nov-2022

LE & Payroll changed effective from 01-Dec-2022
Legal Employer = Legal Entity2
Payroll = Payroll2

Run Single Touch Payroll Archive 2022 with Update even for LE1
Event = Update
Legal Employer = LE1
Financial Year = 2022/2023
Payroll = Monthly
* Pay Period = Frozen
Submission Date = 30-Nov-2022
Assignment Number = <Assignment DOES NOT show in the LOV>

++ Employee is not available to run the STP2 archive process for LE1.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: AU HRMS Manager
2. Navigate to View > Requests > Submit New Request
3. Run Payroll and Single Touch Payroll Archive 2022 for Pay event
4. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Assignment
5. In the same financial year, change the Legal Employer & Payroll and save in Update mode.
6. Navigate to View > Requests > Submit New Request
7. Run Single Touch Payroll Archive 2022 for Update event for previous Legal Employer
8. Employee's assignment is not available in the list of values
