API Error When Creating Service Request From Template In Agent Dashboard (Doc ID 2971320.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a service request (SR) from template in Agent Dashboard, the following error occurs:


API Error (CS_ServiceRequest_PVT.Create_SR_Validation): The value for parameter p_inventory_org_id cannot be "NULL".


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in with 'Service Desk Analys't responsibility.
2. Open the Agent Dashboard. Click on the 'Create' button (on the right) and choose to create Service Request from Template.
3. Fill in all the relevant data, and press 'Apply'.
4. Receive the error message:

API Error (CS_ServiceRequest_PVT.Create_SR_Validation): The value for parameter p_inventory_org_id cannot be "NULL"
