UK: Payroll Run UK and Retropay Enhanced Processes Are Having Performance Issues if Gross Up Elements are Attached to Employees (Doc ID 2972260.1)

Symptoms

Payroll Run UK process and/or Retropay Enhanced process are taking a very long time to complete when Gross Up elements are attached to employees.
This processes are completed in the expected amount of time when Gross Up elements are not attached.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Under HRMS Manager Responsibility.
2. (N) People > Enter and Maintain > Query an employee > Assignment > Entries > Add a Gross up element.
3. (N) Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > run 'Payroll run UK' or 'Retropay Enhanced' process.
4. Observe that the processes are taking a very long time to complete.
