Customer Page: Address Line 1 Is Optional and Personalization Is Not Working for Account Create Contact Email Field (Doc ID 2972620.1)

Symptoms

In Customer Page, under Account Communication tab, following two issues started appearing after applying patch 30996245:R12.AR.C when creating a new contact.

1. Address Line 1 field was optional.

2. Personalization did not work. Personalization was done to make the Email field mandatory, but when creating a new Account Contact, the system allows to save contact without email id. The system was expected to throw error.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

        Responsibility: Receivables Manager
        Navigation:
Customers > Create/Maintain Customers

  1. Query up a Customer
  2. Go to Account > Communication > Account Contacts > Create Contact
  3. Issue 1 : Address Line 1 field is shown optional under 'Address' section
  4. Issue 2 : Do not enter E-mail under 'Peron Information' and Save. User is able to save the contact without e-mail even though email id was made mandatory(through Personalization)
