Discrete Job Creation Fails/Hangs With 'Scheduling Job And Creating Material Requirements' Message In A Fresh Install Or Upgrade. (Doc ID 2977217.1)

Symptoms

After an upgrade or fresh eBS installation, users are not able to create discrete jobs because of the following error in the status bar while Discrete Jobs form hangs:

Scheduling job and creating material requirements


The issue can be reproduced using following steps:

1. [R] Work in Process
2. [N] Discrete > WIP Discrete Jobs form
3. Enter assembly and all required information.
4. Save. The form hangs and the error is visible in the status bar.
