AME Workflow Not Progressed Post Approval Of RMA

Symptoms
RMA is approved but still AME workflow is not progressing, and lines stuck in BOOKED status instead of Awaiting Return after AME approval.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to OM Super User responsibility
2. Create RMA.
3. Once return order created at shipped org and then an RMA will be created at supplier
4. A notification will be sent to RMA approver - once approved the RMA lines status should move to Awaiting return from BOOKED status
But here AME approved the workflow and is not processing further and stuck in BOOKED status even though RMA is approved.
