Foreign Language Search In iProcurement Does Not Return Expected Items (Doc ID 298188.1)

Items from Master Items are not found in iProcurement search results.  Search for items and the search results returns 0 records.

The items are imported into Master Items
There are two languages installed: AR (Arabic) and EN (US English)

The GLOBE icon in Master Items shows that the Item description is the same for both Arabic and English language. If the user changes one of the values slightly, and then runs the Catalog Data Extract - Items process, the item will now become searchable in iProcurement.  This is a workaround, but it is not feasible since there are tens of thousands of items that have this issue.

The items are searchable in the Core Apps Purchasing Requisition Entry form.
