APP-PAY-06882: Assertion failure detected at location pyib1f:2. Error in the Process Log When Running QuickPay Process or APP-PAY-06881: Error ORA-01403: no data found in the Process Log When Running Payroll Run Process (Doc ID 2982527.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run QuickPay process from QuickPay form, the following error occurs in the process log.

HR_6882_HRPROC_ASSERT
LOCATION pyib1f:2

APP-PAY-06882: Assertion failure detected at location pyib1f:2.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

    1. Using HRMS Manager responsibility.
    2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain.
    3. Search for the affected employee > Assignment > Others > QuickPay.
    4. Run the QuickPay process > Check the log file.

OR

When attempting to run Payroll Run process from Submit Request form, the following error occurs in the process log.

HR_6881_HRPROC_ORA_ERR
SQLERRMC ORA-01403: no data found
SQL_NO 1539
TABLE_NAME PER_TIME_PERIODS

APP-PAY-06881: Error ORA-01403: no data found
 has occurred in table PER_TIME_PERIODS at location 1539

Cause:        an oracle error has occurred.  The failure was reported on table PER_TIME_PERIODS at location 1539 with the error text ORA-01403: no data found
Action:        Please contact your support representative.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

    1. Using HRMS Manager responsibility.
    2. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports.
    3. Run the Payroll Run process > Check the log file.
