TEST CONNECTION DISPLAYS FILE VERSION MISMATCH MESSAGE EVEN THOUGH VERSIONS OF FILES ON EBS AND CONTENT SERVER ARE SAME (Doc ID 2983702.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2 HRMS RUP17 version, Content Admin

Content uploaded successfully but does not reflect in the back end during content server file version mismatch even when the temporary directory is configured correctly.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.  Log in as Learning Administrator
2.  Navigate to Learning Administration -> Setup Admin -> Content Server
3.  Click on Test communication for the content server which you configured. See the following message : "Communication with Content Server is successful. However, versions of files deployed on content server are not matching with file versions on middle tier."
4.  Now navigate to Content Administration and try to upload any content to the same content server.

The screen will show that the content is upload successfully but when we visit contentstorage URL, the content is not found there.
