Last updated on NOVEMBER 01, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Grants Accounting - Version 12.2.11 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An award shows there is a difference in the total actual cost shown for the award and related projects in Award Status Inquiry and Project Status Inquiry.

Example scenario:

Award Status Inquiry (ASI) shows the Total Cost = 37000.00 and Available Balance = (1000.00).
The Project Status Inquiry screen (from the ASI screen) shows the Total Cost = 37000.00 and Available Balance = i.e. (1000.00).
Project Status Inquiry shows Budget = 36000.00, Actual Cost = 36000.00, Total Cost = 36000.00, and Available Balance = 0.00

pa_summary_project_fundings:
TOTAL_BASELINED_AMOUNT = 36000.00
TOTAL_ACCRUED_AMOUNT = null
TOTAL_BILLED_AMOUNT = null

pa_expenditure_items_all:
sum(BURDEN_COST) = 36000.00

User re-baselined the award budget for the project. Ran the GMS: Update Actual and Encumbrance Balances process. Issue still exists.

Replication Steps:

1. Navigate to > Grants responsibility > Award Status. Enter the Award Number. Click the Find button.

3. Navigate to > Grants responsibility > Project Status. Enter the Project Number. Click the Find button.
