Symptoms

When attempting to run the Tax Year End Data Validation and Preprocess concurrent program, the following error is displayed in the Create Tax Year End Exception Log:

Employee Number   : <employee_number>
Assignment Number : <assignment_number>

If the Directive Income Source Code (Code 3232) or Directive Income Amount (Code 3233) has a value, then the Directive Issued Date (Code 3231) must have a value.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Under ZA HRMS Manager Responsibility or equivalent.
2. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run Tax Year End Data Validation and Preprocess concurrent program.
3. The following processes are spawned automatically:
  - Tax Certificate Preprocess (Tax Certificate Preprocess) concurrent program.
  - Create Tax Year End exception log (Create Tax Year End Exception Log) concurrent program.
4. Click on View Log for the Create Tax Year End Exception Log > Observe above error is displayed.
