Special Information Type (SIT) Is Auto Approved and It Is Not Going for Approval as per Approvals Management Engine (AME) Rule Setup (Doc ID 2985115.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to submit a Special Information Type (SIT) for approval from Employee Self Service responsibility using Special Information Type (SIT) page, the transaction is auto approved and it is not going for approval as per Approvals Management Engine (AME) setup rule created.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Using Employee Self Service responsibility.

2. Navigate to Special information page

3. Enter SIT details

4. Submit for approval > the transaction is autoapproved
