Symptoms
While performing Lot Translate transactions via Inventory transactions open interface, the following error occurs:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small in Package INV_LOT_TRX_VALIDATION_PUB Procedure Validate_Attributes
Issue can be reproduced at will by the following steps:
1. Insert data into Inventory interface tables mtl_transactions_interface & mtl_transaction_lots_interface with transaction type 'Inventory Lot Translate'.
2. Run the program 'Process Transaction Interface' to process the Interfaced data.
3. Program will fail and the interface table will show the above mentioned error.
