Unable To Pick Release By Specific Subinventory When Aggregate Quantity Is Negative

Symptoms
Attempt to pick release from a subinventory with enough onhand but the order line is backordered during pick release.
A second subinventory has a negative quantity and the total of the two subinventories is negative.
Expect the order to pick release and show the line as staged for shipping.
Instead the order line is for item A is backordered even though subinventory 2 has enough onhand.
STEPS
1. Confirm that the net Total Qty of Item A for the Inventory Organization is -9,000 (-10,000 in subinventory 1 + 1,000 in subinventory 2)
2. Enter Order for Item A with a quantity of 100
3. Goto the Release Sales Order for Picking form (WSHFRREL) and enter the details:
a) Order Tab : Enter Order Number
b) Shipping Tab : Autocreate Delivery = Yes
c) Inventory Tab : Warehouse = The invenotry organization
d) Auto allocation, Auto Pick Confirm = 'Yes'
e) Pick From subinventory = Subinventory 2
4. Run the pick release concurrent request.
