Symptoms

The issue occurs for customer(s) who have upgraded from EBS Oracle Applications 12.1.3 to 12.2 or higher.

When attempting to Submit the 'RL1 Register Report' and spawned 'Payroll Worker Process', which are part of the request set, 'RL1 Register Report CA' failed to run with the below error messages:

HR_6859_HRPROC_OTHER_PROC_ERR
APP-PAY-06859: An error has been detected by another process.

Payroll Worker Process error messages:
Enter Password:
REP-1401: 'afterpform': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.
ORA-01403: no data found

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Using the responsibility > : CA Super HRMS Manager or Equilvalent.
2. Navigate to Submit Process and Reports  >  Year end Pre process
3. Submit the Request Set: RL1 Register Report CA with the following parameters:
           a) Reporting Year: 2023
           b) PRE Archived by Year End Processes: Customer's GRE

Changes

 Upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2 Oracle Applications.
