When Attempting to Access Any LOV or Upload Functionality in Saved OOXML WebAdi Documents an Error Is Displayed: RUN-TIME ERROR '5': Invalid Procedure Call Or Argument Received (Doc ID 2988380.1)

Symptoms

 When attempting to access any List of Values (LOV) or upload functionality in saved OOXML WebADI documents, even with Patch 35036688:R12.BNE.C applied (Doc ID 2951799.1), an error is displayed on the screen. The issue is more likely to occur when the template is generated for Non-English Languages.

ERROR

RUN-TIME ERROR '5': Invalid Procedure Call Or Argument Received

Note: non-english languages usage would through language specific errors, such as:  Erreur d'execution '5' argument ou appel de procedure incorrect. Such messages indicate the same issue.

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Under WebADI responsibility > Create Document
2. Select Integrator: General Ledger - Journals
3. Enter data and upload.
4. Verify the Journal Import run successfully
5. Save the file and close the document
6. Reopen the Excel file which was closed as indicated in the above step and click "List of Values" or "Switch Responsibility" or "Upload"
7. See the error on the screen
8. Even if click "OK" to close the error message window, it occurs again when clicking the "Upload" button again
