When attempting to update asset group for an asset number, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Update procedure failed with the following error message:
You cannot change asset group for the asset number in inventory or associated with equipment or property location.

STEPS

1. Responsibility: Enterprise Asset Management.
2. Go to Asset Numbers form.
3. Query asset number.
4. Try to update asset group and receive the above error.
