P45 Form Is Not Generated and Is Missing From P45 A4 Report Process Output for Non-Aggregated PAYE Employee(s) With Multiple Assignments After Running P45 Process (Doc ID 2989188.1)

Symptoms

After running P45 Process concurrent program, when checking the P45 A4 Report Process output it has been observed that the P45 Form is missing and not generated for non-aggregated PAYE (Pay As You Earn) employee that has multiple assignments.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Under UK HRMS Manager Responsibility or equivalent.

2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query for employee > Assignment > Create new assignment and make it primary on the same day (for example on 03-Apr-2023).

3. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query for above employee > Ensure that 'PAYE Aggregated Assignments' field is unchecked.

4. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query for above employee > Assignment > Terminate old primary assignment on the same day (for example on 03-Apr-2023).

5. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run 'Payroll Run UK', 'PrePayments' and 'RTI - Full Payment Submission Process (FPS) 2022/23' process.

6. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run 'P45 Process' concurrent request program.
Note: P45 A4 Report is spawned automatically.

7. Open output of P45 A4 Report process and observe that the P45 for the above terminated assignment is not generated.
