Error "PQH_FTE_NE_SHARED_POS_FTE_CAP - Assignment Budgeted FTE Is Not Equal To Position FTE Capacity" When Loading New Hires Via Web-ADI Using Seeded API hr_assignment_api.update_emp_asg_criteria (Doc ID 2989843.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import/update employee assignments using a custom WebADI integrator which utilizes the seeded API hr_assignment_api.update_emp_asg_criteria, the following error appears in the WebADI Upload Spreadsheet.

PQH_FTE_NE_SHARED_POS_FTE_CAP Assignment+Budgeted+FTE+is+not+equal+to+position+FTE+Capacity

The same error is shown only a warning when directly calling the API and also in the application core forms (US HRMS Manager: People > Enter and Maintain > Assignment 'PERWSHRG')

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Responsibility: Desktop Integration

  2.  Navigate: Create Document > Integrator: XX_FTE > Excel 2007 > XX TEST FTE Layout > Continue until excel document is loaded.
     
  3.  Locate the row for the assignment you wish to update > Make the assignment change

  4.  Click Upload in Excel
