Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Advanced Collections 12.2.9 and earlier, strategy work items are being assigned to a resource whose role has been end dated within a group.

Steps to Reproduce:

Responsibility: CRM Administrator
Navigation
: Resource Manager > Maintain Resources > Resources
Navigation: Resource Manager > Maintain Resources > Groups

  1. Create a two resources (or using existing resources):
    Collector1
    Collector2
  2. Create a group collector, and add Collector1 and Collector2 to the group.
  3. Create the group collector as an AR Collector.
  4. Assign the group collector to customers
  5. Run IEX: Strategy Management and see that the work work items are assigned to both Collector1 and Collector2
  6. Collector2 is no longer needed, so they need to be removed from the group
  7. Query Collector 2 (Resource Manager > Maintain Resources > Resources), click on the Groups tab, and place an End Date for the Group Member Roles section.  This action should end date the resources role within the group.
  8. The next date after the end date, run IEX: Strategy Management again, and notice that Collector2 is still assigned work items, for any customers that are assigned the group collector.
