Specific Item Number In EDI Sales Order Is Not Moving To Staged/Pick Confirmed In Delivery (Doc ID 2992235.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.12 version,

Customer has a specific item number (XXX10X7008AL ) in EDI Sales order is not moving to Staged/Pick Confirmed in Delivery, however if customer adds the same item manually in Sales Order and performs Pick Release It is working fine.

Customer brings order in from EDI,Then pick releases via a release rule . they are expecting this particular item to show staged pick confirm but each time it remains ready to release

Per review of the item definition  report -  item set up under inventory shows as Reservation Control: Not reserveable

Customer states Current Inventory Organization is defined as 'Allow Negative Balances'. So, they  do not define any items with Reserveable Flag as 'Yes'.

We cannot change this attribute.



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Run Edi bring in order

2. Pick Release using release rule for item XXX10X7008AL

3. Item does not move to stage pick confirm
