While Copying Inventory Organization Using Concurent Program Copy Inventory Organization (INVISCOR) Fails With Error "INV_SETUP_NO_DATA_FOUND" In The Concurrent Program Log (Doc ID 2992968.1)

Symptoms


Copy Inventory Organization (INVISCOR) program failed with following error :


ERROR
-----------------------

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: FND, Message Name: FND_GENERIC_MESSAGE. Tokens: MESSAGE = oracle.apps.jtf.base.resources.FrameworkException: Error in IAS Cache: oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: INV, Message Name: INV_SETUP_NO_DATA_FOUND. Tokens: ATTR_VALUE = OrganizationCode = 'AB9';


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Applications, Inventory Responsibility
  2. Navigate to Inventory > Setup > Organizations > Organization Copy > Maintain Interface
  3. Click on New.
  4. Enter details and click on Save.
  5. Click on Populate Interface Table and enter details.
  6. A message will be displayed: The XML text has been created and saved in the copy organization interface table > Click OK button.
  7. Navigate to Inventory > Setup > Organizations > Organization Copy > Launch Organization
  8. Enter following Parameters and click on OK.
    Model Organization : XXX
    Group Code : NNN
    Assign to Existing Hierarchies : Yes
    Copy Shipping Network : Yes
    Copy Items : Yes
    Validate Items : Yes
    Copy BOM : No
    Copy Routings : No
    Purge : No
  9. Click on Submit.
  10. Copy Inventory Organization is Completed / Error.
    Name : Copy Inventory Organization
    Phase : Completed
    Status : Error
