PDRT Tool - CS_DRT_PKG - Constraint Check Fails When Employee And Group Resources Have Identical ID (Doc ID 2993326.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 10, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Common Applications - Version 12.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The Person Data Removal Tool (PDRT), constraint checks fail when employee and group resources have identical ID numbers.
The numbering of EMPLOYEE_ID in table JTF_RS_RESOURCE_EXTNS and GROUP_ID in JTF_RS_GROUPS_B are set up with the same sequence details (same min values, same increments)

Running the PDRT "Check Constraints" process fails with the below message when checking for open Service Requests tasks assigned to or owned by the problematic resource.

"Check Result = Service: This person is the owner or assignee on one or more open service request tasks. Please re-assign the tasks assigned to this person."

The results are incorrect because there are no tasks related to the Employee Resource but there are Tasks owned by a Group with a GROUP_ID identical to the employees Resource ID
