AU: Can HR_PERSONAL_PAY_METHOD_API Be Used Instead Of HR_AU_PERSONAL_PAY_METHOD_API For Creating Payment Method In Australia Legislation (Doc ID 2994518.1)

The business requirement is to pass run type when creating a personal payment method for employees. But the parameter is missing in the procedure CREATE_AU_PERSONAL_PAY_METHOD in HR_AU_PERSONAL_PAY_METHOD_API

However, the procedure CREATE_PERSONAL_PAY_METHOD of HR_PERSONAL_PAY_METHOD_API has the parameter p_run_type_id.

Can HR_PERSONAL_PAY_METHOD_API be used instead of HR_AU_PERSONAL_PAY_METHOD_API. If yes, will there be any issues, like missing out on legislative related updates or rules that are specific to AU.
