Batch Entry Validation on Minimum and Maximum Limits for Element Entries is Looking at Old Values and Errors: ORA-20001: You must enter a value within the minimum and maximum range (Doc ID 299607.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

BEE Validation process is using the old values being used for the minimum and maximum limits set for the input value of the element being processed and error's with the following:

"You must enter a value within the minimum and maximum range. ORA-20001: You
must enter a value within the minimum and maximum range."



Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate:  Total Compensation -> Basic -> Element Description -> Input Values
  2. Use minimum and maximum values for validation.
  3. Create a BEE batch for the element with a value out of the range of the
  4. minimum and maximum limits.
  5. Validate the batch. (This will cause the BEE status to be in Error)
  6. Update the BEE batch to set the status as Unprocessed.
  7. Validate the BEE Batch.
  8. The following error will be encountered:

"You must enter a value within the minimum and maximum range. ORA-20001: You
must enter a value within the minimum and maximum range."
