Pick Release Fails With Error "Invalid Creditcard Number or Expiry Date" Though the Line Level Credit Card Details Are Valid (Doc ID 2996337.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Pick Release an Order Line, the following error happens when header level credit card details are expired and line level credit card details are valid.

ERROR

Invalid Creditcard number or expiry date

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Create Sales Order with credit card information.

2. Add two Order lines. Ship and invoice the first line. Backorder the second line

3. Try to pick release the second line after making sure that the header level credit card got expired.

4. Enter new credit card details for second line and process the payment.

5. Pick Release fails with error "Invalid Creditcard number or expiry date"
