Issues With Mass Update On Lines With Schedule Ship Date After R12.2 Upgrade (Doc ID 2996374.1)

Symptoms




Users are facing some issues with Mass Update.

Case 1: Mass update SSD Schedule Ship Date, update 1st time, Sales Order date has no change, then mass update 2nd time, no change still, and 3rd time only updated 2 lines in this Sales Order, then all the other lines request date was updated which was expected.
Case 2: Mass update SSD Schedule Ship Date, Sales Order Model lines are updated , but sub lines of star item SSD Schedule Ship Date is not updated.



Expect Mass Change to work for all lines


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User
2. Navigate: Order Organizer > query order > Lines (Tab)
3. In the Line Items tabbed region, multi-select the lines you want to change.
5. Select Mass Change from the Tools menu.
6. Enter SSD Schedule Ship Date > Click OK
Case 1: Mass update SSD Schedule Ship Date, update 1st time, Sales Order date has no change, then mass update 2nd time, no change still, and 3rd time only updated 2 lines in this Sales Order, then all the other lines request date was updated which was expected.
