R12: AP: 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC Forms Not Printing "2024" in "Rev. January 2024" and Not Printing All Four Characters of Year. (Doc ID 2996996.1)

Last updated on MARCH 04, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Payables - Version 12.1.3 to 12.2.13 [Release 12.1 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A)
In the form name box, the 1099 Froms for MISC and NEC now shows "Rev. January 2024". However, the Oracle 1099 Forms PDF Format report for MISC and NEC still shows "Rev. January 2022".

B)
In the For Calendar Year box, the 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC forms no longer show the "20" part of the year. However, the 1099 Forms and 1099 Forms PDF Format reports for both MISC and NEC only print the last two characters of the year.

STEPS
-----------------------

A)
1. Navigation: Payables Responsibility Navigator to Other >Requests > Run > Run 1099 Forms PDF Format report.
2. Run the 1099 report for either MISC output or NEC output.
3. Notice that forms print "Rev. January 2022" in the Form name box. The new form prints "Rev. January 2024".

B)
1. Navigation: Payables Responsibility Navigator to Other >Requests > Run > Run either 1099 Forms or 1099 Forms PDF Format report.
2. Run the 1099 report for either MISC output or NEC output.
3. Notice that the report only prints the last two digits of the year. The new form requires all four digits to print.

Changes

IRS modified 1099 forms in December 2023.

The 1099 patch 35942643:R12.AP.C does not provide the new change.
