Symptoms

Sales Order with Inventory-Item is being changed to a different Inv-Org.  When creating a sales order and entering a new inventory item at the line level, the warehouse in the shipping-tab changes from 601 to 107 for example.

There appears also an error message during sales order creation.

ERROR MESSAGE
The item specified is invalid or does not exist in the warehouse you specified. Please enter a valid item-warehouse combination.

Please *Note: Warehouse 601 and 107 are being used for demonstration purposes only.

1. Log into Order Management as Order Management Super User
2. Navigate: Orders, Returns -> Sales Orders
3. Create Sales Order
4. Before entering the item, the warehouse = 601, which is correct
5. Line 1.1, Warehouse 601
6. When entering item – error message appears:  "The item specified is invalid or does not exist in the warehouse you specified. Please enter a valid item-warehouse combination."
7. Warehouse in sales order line has changed from 601 -> 107
8. The item is NOT assigned to 107
