Prior to upgrading to 11.5.10, the Workflow Java Mailer processes were thoroughly tested and were working properly, the Inbound notifications were being processed by the IMAP server and Outbound mail was working correctly.

After upgrading to 11.5.10, the outbound messages were not being processed because the Java Mailer was staying in a Starting or Stopping status.  The mailer would not stay started.

Error message in the log is:

SVC-GSM-WFMLRSVC-468433-10006 : oracle.apps.fnd.cp.gsc.Logger.Logger(String, int) : Logging to System.out until necessary parameters are retrieved for Logger to be properly started.
at oracle.apps.fnd.cp.gsc.SvcComponentProcessor.performInit(

Once we set the Inbound Thread count within Workflow Manager to 0, the mailer stays started and processes Outbound mail just fine, the problem is that we need to use Inbound email processing.

The error May also look like this in the case of containing a dash., RE, RE)]:Candidate ID {NID[843766/45004163128280314003659994386312815437@WF-TST02]}

 In 12.1.4, nothing happens if the approve or reject link is selected from e-mail and the notification is handled as unsolicited.

Upgrading from a previous OWF G release to OWF H / 11.5.10 is when the problem was noticed.
