Table Event Updates Form Throws APP-PAY-33272 Error (Doc ID 3003801.1)

Symptoms

Table Event Updates form throws the error even though nothing has changed.

 

APP-PAY-33272: This row level event already exists. Please select a row level event that is not already in use.

 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login as HRMS Manager responsibility.

  2.  Open the Table Event Updates form.
    (N) Other Definitions > Table Event Updates

  3. Query the Table Name PAY_ELEMENT_ENTRIES_F.

  4. Click into any field under ‘Row Level Events’.
    DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGE

  5. Click back into Table Name.

  6. Attempt to close form.

  7. Click OK in the message "Do you want to save the change you have made?".

  8. Error occurs.
