Patch Wizard Analyzer Fails to Download the Patch and Patch Analysis Fails with Error "ERROR: Readme not found in the patch zip file" (Doc ID 3006257.1)

Symptoms

When trying to analyze a large patch using the patch wizard analyzer, the patch analysis fails with error about missing readme.txt as "ERROR: Readme not found in the patch zip file". The patch analysis has failed due to the failure of patch download but the log file indicates that the patch has been downloaded.

The patch analysis is successful if the patch is downloaded manually indicating that the issue is with the patch download and not be the analysis.

STEPS

2. Navigation: System Administrator > Oracle Application Manager > Patch Wizard.
3. Click on Task : Recommend/Analyze Patches.
4. Enter the patch number to download and analyze under "Analyze Specific Patches".
