BPA External Template Interactive Preview Is Not Working After R12.2 Upgrade And Getting Error: 504 Gateway Time-out (Doc ID 3006425.1)

Symptoms

Bill Presentment Architecture (BPA) Interactive Preview  of external template is not working after R12.2 upgrade and getting time-out error.

Interactive Preview of a template that is copy of seeded template also get the same error.

External template and copy of seeded template are using the Supplementary Source: Customer Transaction Data Source

504 Gateway Time-out

 

AWR collected shows following statement taking time:

Select DESCRIPTION,EXTENDED_AMOUNT,LINE_NUMBER,LINE_TAX_RATE,LINE_TYPE,QUANTITY,SALES_ORDER,TAX_EXISTS_FOR_THIS_LINE_FLAG,UNIT_PRICE From ARBPA_CUSTOMER_TRX_LINE


Steps to Reproduce:

Responsibility: Bill Presentment responsibility
Navigation: Template Management > External Templates

  1. Search External Template
  2. Click on Interactive Preview
  3. Search for a Transaction
  4. Click on Online Preview or Print Preview



Changes

 Upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2
