Symptoms
When running a concurrent request that spawns the Payroll File Reporter (PFR) program, the PFR request fails and a message is displayed in the log file.
Error:
usdsop: exec failed during spawn/u01/app/oracle/fs1/EBSapps/appl/pay/12.0.0/bin/PYUPRT: Invalid argument
/u01/app/oracle/fs1/EBSapps/appl/pay/12.0.0/bin/PYUPRT
Program exited with status 1
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps in HRMS Manager responsibility:
1. Navigate: Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request
2. Select concurrent program that will spawn PFR (e.g. UAE Payment Output File)
3. Submit request and find the spawned PFR request failed.
