Dental Rate is not Prorating Correctly in the First Pay Period (Doc ID 3010356.1)

Symptoms

Dental rate is not rounding correctly and collecting more over the year.

Example:
Annualized amount : $411.00
Per Pay period amount for 24 pay periods = 411/24 = 17.125

Expected Results:
Prorate the amount for the first pay period as below.
First pay period = 17.09
Rest pay periods = 17.13
Total = $411(17.09+17.13*23)

 

 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login as US SHRMS Manager responsibility.

  2.  Go to Benefits Service Center to process Open Life Event. (Assigned Life Event Occurred Date 1-Jan-2024).
     (N) People > Benefits Service Center
     
  3.  Go to Element Entries form as of 1-Nov-2023.
     (N) People > Enter and Maintain > (B) Assignment > (B) Entries

  4. Entry value for Dental Pre_Tax.Amount is 17.13.
