Goal

How to make price and other fields updatable in shopping cart while creating catalog and non-catalog requisitions ?

The following fields are not updateable for CATALOG Items:

ItemDescription (see below For Item Description field notes)
Category 
Translated UOM Lov 
Translated UOM
Currency  (Note: Currency can be updated for some catalog items in 12.2.6 per <Note 2183399.1>)
Rate Type 
Rate Date 
Rate 
Contract Number 
New Supplier Flag 
Supplier 
Supplier Input
Supplier Site 
Supplier Site Input 
Supplier Contact 
Supplier Contact Phone 
Supplier Contact Fax 
Supplier Contact Email 
Supplier Item 
Manufacturer 
Manufacturer Part Number

The price depends on the BPA price override flag checked.

Note: Punchout items are considered catalog items. They will have the catalog item behavior of not updateable item description/category.
