Unable To Search Lines With DFF Descriptive Flex Field Values From Order Organizer In Order Management Due To DFF Descriptive Flex Field Ref Field Value (Doc ID 3013779.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to search sales order lines with DFF values from Order Organizer form the following error occurs due to DFF reference field value selected as LINE_TYPE.


APP-FND-00730: This flexfield has an invalided value set. it
may use a special value set that uses an Edit event user exit,
and the user exit ha failed. If you are using a form
on a graphical user interface (GUI) you may have an invalid
value set of a different type, possibly a table-validated
value set where the table or view does not exist or where
there is an invalid WHERE clause.

Contact your system administrator or support representative
to check and correct the value sets this flexfield uses.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User
  Navigate: Sales Order Organizer Form
2. Search Order Line with DFF Descriptive Flex Field Value
3. Observe Error: APP-FND-00730: This flexfield has an invalided value set.
