Unexpected error with Saved search in BWC Orders

Symptoms
When attempting to perform a sort by status on a saved search in BWC Orders page,
the following error occurs.

You have encountered an unexpected error.Please contact your system administrator for assistance
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. From the Purchasing responsibility
2. Navigate to BWC Orders page---Click Personalize
3. Create a saved search and apply sort by status as a criteria in the sort settings
4. Click Apply and View results
