'Create Repair Warranty' Activity Completes In Error "ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error" (Doc ID 3014780.1)

After setting up the Depot Repair Order line workflow to create repair warranty on shipment, find that a new line is added to the order for the Repair Warranty but the repair warranty contract is not created when shipping the item.
The workflow activity completes but the 'Create Repair Warranty' stage completes in error.
The Service Contracts Order Processing Program concurrent program log shows the following error:

get pricing adjustments statusS
Oracle Error Code is --6502
Oracle Error Message is -ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in with Depot Repair Manager responsibility.
2. Setup repair warranty workflow.
3. Create a service order.
4. Go to Logistics tab and enter a SHIP line that uses the 'Create Repair Warranty' activity.
5. Ship the item.
