Symptoms

Projects agreement workflow is erroring with the following error when a notification is approved.

Error ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
Error Stack -pa_ag_wf.approve_wf_status(PAAGPPRW, AGM_00002958-1-2521, 634594, RUN)
Wf_Engine_Util.Function_Call(pa_agreement_workflow.approve_wf_status, PAAGPPRW, AGM_00002958-1-2521, 634594, RUN)

Workflow Attributes show that the Result = Approved, but does not complete as successful.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Create a Buyer Initiated Order (BIO) and interface to EBS
  2. Create a project and define the performance Obligation (POBG) line.
  3. On the POBG page, update the structure name to more than 20 chars
  4. Update the Agreement User Defined Attributes (UDA) and submit the agreement for approval
  5. Approve the agreement.
  6. Workflow fails once agreement is approved through the workflow notification.
