When Integrating EBS With ECC Fails with Error "Connection Filters Cannot Be Applied" During Installation Of ECC V11 (Doc ID 3018115.1)

Symptoms

 

When attempting to integrate Enterprise Command Center (ECC) with E-Business Suite (EBS), the integration fails and the following error occurs in the setup.log

The edit lock associated with this edit session is released once the activation is completed.
This Exception occurred at Mon Mar 11 13:50:56 CDT 2024.
weblogic.management.provider.UpdateException: [Management:141190]The commit phase of the configuration update failed with an exception.

Connection Filters cannot be applied..

The issue can be replicated using below steps.


1.  Create environment file by running createEnvFile.sh under $ECC_HOME/quickInstall folder

2. Start installation by running $ ./envSetup.sh script from $ECC_HOME/quickInstall folder

 

3. Select which option you want to proceed with

  1. Database Setup
  2. Install Weblogic Server
  3. Create ECC Domain
  4. Create EBS JNDI
  5. Integrate ECC with EBS
  6. Exit:

4. Choose Option 5. Integrate ECC with EBS after completing prior steps
